(750ml bottle from Bottlecraft Little Italy, San Diego) Pours a moderately hazed pale straw gold with active bubbles but no real head, and some floaties that look like real peaches. Aroma is quite tart, with notes of peach, cantaloupe, lemon peel and juice, flowers, white wine, wet earthy funk, slight sulphur. In the mouth, it is moderately sour with a distinct bite of yellow peach, ample lemon, white wine, wheaty grain, soft barrel notes, lactic, floral, with wet funk that’s earthy and a little sulphurous. Body is light, carbonation is light but spritzy. The nose implies something a bit more richly peachy while the flavour is that of a funky Berliner, but it’s a refreshing brew with a little complexity too.

On draft at Caps & Taps. It pours a pale yellow color with no head. The aroma has light lemon, melon and heavy funk. Hints of wood. The flavor is very tart and lemony with honeydew notes and lemon juice acidity. Very light bodied with strong funk. The carbonation is a little low for the style. This is very sour and kinda simple despite all the funk. Just ok.

Bottle thanks to Blairgus. Appearance - pale yellow and fairly flat head. Nose - wood, meat and yeast notes. Canned peaches. Like a white burgundy. Taste - white pepper and wood. Peach is less obvious. Palate - light to medium bodied with a long lean tangy texture which continues through the finish. Overall - interesting beer. The nose is definitely better than the taste though.

Bottle courtesy of Scarl. Pours hazy deep yellow with no head worth mentioning. Smell is fruity with crackers, lemon, fresh peaches, hay and lemon zest. Taste is sour and heavy fruity. Mouthfeel is soft, flat, round, dry, tart, tiny oily and medium bodied. Finish is sour with tons of peaches. Bit one note but very tasty if you don’t mind it being just peaches.
