Savor every last drop of tropical refreshment with this juicy blend of citrusy hops balanced by a lively malt body. A juicy citrus and grapefruit flavor profile. As if fresh Citra and Mosaic hops were squeezed straight into the bottle. This mouthwateringly delicious IPA gets its flavor from a heavy helping of citra and mosaic hops. Don’t worry, no fruit was harmed in the making of this beer.

From a 355ml bottle on 1/5/2016. Pours a clear dark copper with a biggish head. The aroma is all floral and fruity hops. Take a sip and there’s lots of caramel malt, some toffee, sweet orange, lemon, spice, finished of by big quite assertive hops. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Exhibits great malt/hop balance and oozes class. A really well made, delicious IPA.

Odd that the label on this beer appears slightly different than the one in the picture - the letters are square and not squeezed crazy. Do they seriously have time to deliberate over lettering on their beer bottles? ’Member Westvleteren doesn’t even have labels. But anywhoos, this pours with a nice big off-white head and orange body with hints of brown. Lots of fruity and sweet hops on the nose, bubble gum, appetizing and layered. Flavour is a kind of muddy affair of graham cracker and hop notes - all those aromas don’t translate into a seriously hoppy brew sadly. Medium on the mouth. Missing a few key ingredients it seems.

355 ml. bottle sampled @ “Sir Goatie McGoat S&G Tasting”. Thank you Mathieu87 and/or PriorL! Hazy orange, little white. Nose is massive dank orange, fresh hop, clean, orange peel. Very dry orange peel taste, dank, rich hops, grapefruit. Very dry body, nicely dry & strongly fruity IPA. Very nice beer.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, best before 5/20/2016. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy deep orange/copper color with a 2 finger dense and fluffy off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of huge grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, melon, passion fruit, berry, lemon/orange zest, light pine, caramel, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Fantastic aromas with awesome complexity and balance of juicy citrus/tropical hops and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, melon, passion fruit, berry, lemon/orange zest, light pine, caramel, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, melon, passion fruit, berry, lemon/orange zest, caramel, toasted bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice complexity, robustness, and balance of juicy citrus/tropical hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from bitterness that lightly increases through the glass. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately sticky, and creamy/bready balanced mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is an outstanding IPA! All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of juicy citrus/tropical hops and moderate bready malt flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. A highly enjoyable offering.
