From recently unearthed notes from August 2016. Keg at the Rake, Borough. Black pour with a quickly diminishing tan head. Nose of dark roast coffee, dark chocolate, black treacle, smoke, toffee. Flavours of smoke, dark chocolate, huge hit of coffee, raisin. Long smoky sweet finish. Very good.

Draft @ The Rake, Borough SE1. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty chocolate and caramel aroma. Roasted malty caramel chocolate and licorice flavor. Has a roasted malty licorice and chocolate finish.

Black beer, beige head. Main aspect of both the scent and taste is earthy malt and bitter dark chocolate. A splash of zesty fruit but only a hint. Aftertaste has that and a touch of licorice too. Rich and drinkable.

Rich chocolate roast As export chinook cascade 7.2... Keg at north brewing Dark black.. Thin tan head... Dark dry pine chocolate roast malts nose... Dark chocolate.. Dry roast.. Dry chocolate malts 4.2
