Greenmantle Century Ale is a lightly hopped 4.5% golden ale, brewed to celebrate Scotland’s rich history in brewing a literature. The author John Buchan, who spent much of his childhood in Broughton, published his two most famous novels the 39 Steps and Greenmantle in 1915 and 1916 respectively. 100 years later this brew is a tribute to the two great Scottish crafts of brewing and writing.
