Cask-conditioned at Beerd, Bristol 23/6/2016. Medium brown in colour, with a decent, off-white, head. Cherries, vanilla, a hint of chocolate and rich maltiness, with some leafy hops and slightly boozy finish. Good.

Keg at BD Sheps Bush, 09/05/16. Reddish amber with a decent beige head. Nose is herbal, caramel, Heather honey, biscuit, sweet malt. Taste comprises sweet malt, toffee, candied fruit, oaty biscuit, grain, toasted brown sugar, fruit esters. Medium bodied, smooth on the palate, semi drying close. So so ... ok for style I guess but delivers little for the ABV.

Keg, one-third pint at CASC in Aberdeen. Copper coloured body, near-clear. Filmy layer, spotty lacing. Nuts, caramel and dough on the nose. Rather rich taste character of forest, nuts, oat, and caramel followed by a dried fruity ending. Medium bodied with hidden alcohol. Nice (17.04.2016).
