Ah easy drinking dark beer, brewed with fuggles and late Chinook hops to give a dryness.

On cask at the Guildford Arms. Appearance - close to opaque black with a decent head. Nose - big citrus hit that drowns out the chocolate. Taste - more balanced with chocolate, biscuits and hops together. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy yet crunchy texture and a long dry bitter finish. Overall - this was too hoppy for a mild and not chocolate enough for a stout so it’s more like a Session black ipa I think.
