Dark beers like this were popular with dock workers in the 1800s. We've packed in eight different malts to draw out flavours of chocolate, coffee, caramel and dried fruits.

Clean light mildly roasty porter, a nice mild ale with nothing off but the oxidation from the real cask ale. Gbbf birminghame 2020

Cask-conditioned at the Lime Kiln, Bristol 5/3/2016. Near black with reddish undertones and a decent, beige, head. Chocolate, toasty malts, some berry fruit and a touch of leafy hop, before a dryish finish. Had a lot of body for a relatively low ABV beer. Enjoyable.
