Night Stalker, as an homage to the Chicago-based television show. Night Stalker is a jet black, dry hopped Imperial Stout, extremely rich and full flavored with malt and chocolate followed by a bright dry hopped aroma. It is the same base as our Bourbon County Stout, but instead of aging in Bourbon barrels, we dry hop it like madmen.

Bottle. Pours jet black with a small brown head and some lacing. Aroma is dark roasted malts, chocolate, citrus, raisin, something odd - burned caramel? caramelized pine cones? Not sure. Same with the taste - light sweet and medium bitter, but definitely a strange note in there. Interesting, not bad, just strange. Full body, creamy mouthfeel. Interesting experience.

Thx to allesmetkaas @ Rampkrot Whale tasting – 65 cl. Bottle sampled. Black with little mocha head. Sweet with a reasonable amount of roast, coffee, light liquorish, chocolate, touch dark fruits and dash of booze. Slightly viscous, touch less carb. Certainly enjoyable.

Pours like motor oil, black body gives one finger creamy tan head recedes slowly and provides a nice lacing in its wake, aroma - sweet milk chocolate up front, some light coffee and hops subdued but come out once the beer warms a bit, taste super sweet through the chocolate yet slightly balanced with coffee and hops only after some warming, super easy on palate, borderline watery leads to good drinkability, good double stout overall will still have again despite being super sessionable

750ml bottle courtesy of Brian. Very unique, melon fruit tones with a massive Impy Stout background. Massive flavor, and the hops are really out there, not really making sense, but cool because of that. Almost approaching pepper, soaked in island fruit. Tocacco, chocolate, maybe a touch of vanilla. Pretty cool offering. The aroma is a little odd.

Bottle shared at CBC - Clerkenwell, London - another big one from Seth! Pours black-brown with a creamy, tan head. Dark malt nose with burnt marshmallow and milk chocolate. Big sweet flavor, some dark malts, moderate roast, big alcohol, burnt sugars, some dark fruits, raisins and licorice. Full bodied with average to high, creamy carbonation. A bit of heat on the finish, more dark sugars, decent roast, robust earthy bitterness. It’s fairly hot. Very good, but not outstanding.

Pours a solid black color with a decent khaki head that slowly dissipates to a cap on top. Smells of citrus and pine with chocolate caramel and toffee malts along with a faint roasted coffee aroma. The flavor is a resinous earthy and pine filled mix of rich chocolate and caramel with just a hint of roasted coffee. A hint of fruit and a touch of alcohol round out the flavor on this one. Medium to thick body with a light level of carbonation and a creamy silky smooth mouthfeel. This is a nice imperial stout, but my personal preference is less hop forward in a big chocolatey stout.

~6 oz tasting glass draft at Waldo Pizza in Kansas City, Missouri. The pour is a deep black brown with a solid well formed 1/2 inch darker khaki head. The aroma is deep malt, sweet sugar cane, a bit of some milk, soy is present, and the back of the nose is more roast char. The taste is a mix of the full sweet sugar can sweet malt, balances with the milk, some grassiness, and a finish with the roastiness. The palate is medium bodied, oily and slick, residual sweetness in booze in the finish.
