Hazy gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is light with a fine crispness. Light but sweetish malts, a little thin cream. Hops are a nice mix of lemon and savoury spice. Trace of herb and mild skunk. Ripe tropical fruits underneath. Dry crisp finish. Nice one. 7.6

Can. 10 years later, a revisit from a tall boy can. Hazy orange beer, decent bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, decent fine minerally carbonation. Light smooth pale malts, a light creamy sweetness. Punchy Summit hops! Trying and failing to think of a better showcase for this dark horse hop. The expected slightly tangy and slightly ripe citrus, enliven by a lemony streak is here and those characteristics are writ wonderfully large here, the lemon vibe is particularly vibrant. Also some semi ripe tropical fruits, especially mango. A secondary aspect for sure, but something new for Summit as far as I can recall. Lovely job. Really appreciating this showcase.

On gravity at the Three Tuns, Bristol 21/12/10. Deep gold in colour with a lick of a white head. Aroma of tangerines and pineapple with some grapefruit in the background. Flavour had lots of citrus hops, with a solid malt backbone and very long, bitter finish. An excellent IPA that avoided sticky sweetness.
