On tap at the Red Squirrel. Appearance - opaque black with a nice head which eventually reduces to a thin crema. Nose - roasted coffee beans. Taste - more freshly roasted coffee but there’s a hint of chocolate. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture and a dry coffee finish. Overall - this is enjoyable ok. But when an outside influence overwhelms the malt and hops the beer is rendered one dimensional.
