On keg at Ushers. Appearance - opaque black with a lovely fawn head. Nose - burnt toast, a hint of chocolate or molasses. Taste - big creamy chocolate and burnt toffee thing. Deep roaatiness. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long and balanced finish. Overall - nae idea where the mint us but this is lovely.

Keg at ushers. Pours clear dark grown with a thin beige head. Aromas of chocolate and mint, as promised. Taste is liquid after eight, albeit a bit thin on the finish.

Keg at Andrew Usher’s. Dense dark brown body with a thin beige head. Faint lacing. Aroma of mint, dark chocolate and charred wood. Flavour of After Eights, peppermint and roasted malt. Medium body with a frothy texture. Lively fizz. Another tasty, well balanced beer from Usher’s. I like these guys a lot.
