Clear deep amber brown with good off-white head. Pleasant aroma - mainly caramel / toffee with some herbal notes. Light body, rather fizzy. Taste starts with toffee with some rather lemony tang, dry herbal tea-like notes develop with some modest bitterness in finish. Pleasant enough.

Reddish copper colored, small to medium off white head. Clear. Aroma is pretty weak, some biscuit and herbal. Taste is caramel, biscuit, some toffee, bit of herbal-floral low to medium bitterness. Dryish finish. Low+ bodied, watery, light to moderate carbonation. Exceptionally tasteless water... I guess cask version could have some character.

Bottle, courtesy of franski. shared with Mrazek, kajzer and ogivlado. Copper body with a tiny white head. Vague meaty dry aroma. Dry, just tiny caramel, ever so slightly tart. Stale, bad, terrible. Useless.

Bottle thanks to Huw. Appearance - deep amber with a proportionate head. Nose - toffee, lemon and big malt notes. Taste - more of the same. Toffee dominant. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long and fairly dry tangy finish. Overall - a bit gnarly but enjoyable.

Aroma is malt, dried malt extract, toasted grains, little alcohol and dried fruits, fruit cake. Flavour is composed of malty, marmite on burnt toast, light roast some tart apple and dried fruit. Palate is semi sweet, slightly chewy, moderate carbonation.

Pours a clear dark amber almost coppery color, topped with a medium non-lasting tan head. Mild malty aroma, some fruity and acaramel notes later on. A bit of bubblegum aroma initially. Taste starts sweet and slightly watery, followed by a very mild bitterness and a bit soapy feel. Easily drinkable, although could do with a bit more taste.
