Pale copper-coloured beer with a decent frothy head and a strong scent of malt and banana. Flavour has caramel, toasty malt flavours with a bitterness in the back of the mouth and the banana comes through in an airy finish in the mouth.

Bottle. Dark copper amber with a very thin head. Has a sweetness you expect from this type of ale but also a fair bitterness.

500ml bottle of the post July 2013 version. Which according to the label is now a "full of flavour craft ale". Hasn’t got the depth of the old 5.6% abv. I guess that’s progress.

Bottle, 5.6% ABV. Pours clear full amber with airy but stable off-white head. Clear aroma of malt, hops and fruit (gooseberry?). Sweetish, malty flavour, with caramel notes and distinct touches of fruit. Regular but rather mild hoppy notes. Medium to thick body. Good mouthfeel. Slightly bitter aftertaste. Decent.

Bottle. Golden-amber color, mediocre foam. Aroma and taste: malty, caramel, a bit earthy hop, a bit fruity, drinkable.
