Bottle from Glen Park Hotel, Ayr. Appearance - dark brown to black with a thin head. Nose - coffee and chocolate. Toffee too. Taste - tiramisu and Jamaica cake. Light rum and raisins booze note. Some wood at the back. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a nice balanced finish. Overall - nice beer. The coffee is not too overbearing as it is in many examples.

Bottle from The Beerhive. Black body with a thin beige head. Faint lacing. Aroma of coffee, blueberries, earth and liquorice. Flavour of bitter coffee, plum and berries. Medium body with a smooth texture. Light fizz. The coffee is really well integrated in this.
