This Irish Imperial Sour Red is not as harsh as some of it's sour cousins, sue to the balancing sweetness from the rich malts used. On the nose it has caramel and toffee sweetness combined with a clear citrus note and a hint of peat. Deep ambe. Mild tartness from the yeasts is balanced by sweetness of rich Irish Malt.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Noam’s place. Thanks Tom L. Hazy red-amber. Aroma of band-aid, peat, a bit of glue, malt, caramel. Sweet and slightly acidic flavor, with malt, caramel, fruitiness, band aid, a bit of peat. Medium-bodied. Weird.

Many thanks to Beersiveknown for this bottle. Fresh sour beginning. Smooth aftertaste, lots of red wood, red fruits, sour with not too much acidity. Fresh red aftertaste with lots of fruity wood. Fresh and easy to drink.

Draught at IBWF15. Murky redish brown with a thin head. Aroma is toffee and caramel. Flavour starts with a sticky sweetness, dark fruity, tart sour kick at the back, alcohol is not dominant. Sour finish.
