Rocky white head on a clear pale golden coloured body. Zesty citrus aroma. Medium bodied, soft & smooth with a tingle on the back & cloying aft. Pale malt, peach & zesty citrus tastes with a tangy finish. Springtime Ale - Nice quaffer.

Cask pint at Ryries Bar. Appearance - pale lemon, very murky to begin with but it becomes remarkably transparent. Dense white head. Nose - grapefruit and muesli. Taste - lemon, grapefruit and generally bready. Palate - light bodied, some cask creaminess and a fresh zestiness on the finish. Overall - just the ticket on a lovely warm day like this.

Cask at The Rake. Pours a clear straw yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has light grass and earthy citrus with hay and light grain notes supporting. Flavor has light grass and hay with a backbone of bread and grain.

Cask. Hallamshire House, Sheffield. Crystal clear straw colour. Thin, tight, bright white head. Nose has hay and sweet grain. Some gluey hop. Smells a little pisner-ish. Taste is sweet and grainy. Light body. A bit of soap. Light, lemony bitter finish.

From tap. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is citrusy hopoy. Fruity and hoppy. Crisp hoppy, herbsl snd bitter finish.

Cask@Charlies Bar, Copenhagen - Clear golden pour with white head. Sweet fruity and sweet white bready malty aroma and taste with some lemony citrus hop notes, straw, hay, great condition, light grassy and hoppy into the finish.

Cask@ Black Door. Poured clear golden color with a thin bubbly white head. Caramelly, toffee, floral, peachy aroma. Lots of peach, sweetness, hops, floral notes in flavor. Dry finish. Nice.

Cask at Black Door, Helsinki. Color is cloudy golden with small bubbly white head. Aromas and flavors: Floral, fruits, hops and malts. Hoppy but bit too sweet.

Golden, very slight haze, white head
Aroma - Hint of lemon, soft citrus, very little aroma
Taste of soft fruits, light zest, very light pale malt, light lemon, very slight herbal note, not much going on at all
Palate - Light body, light bitter, light sweet. Finish - very little on the finish, light fruits.
Overall - I’ve used ’light’ so many times here. Had these with the Peverel beer - that was a cracker. This was disappointing in comparison - just OK.
