Straw blond with creamy head. This one is really dry. Thereโs a touch of citrus. Quite light bodied.

(Cask at Craft Beer Covent Garden, London, 24 April 2016) Golden colour with foamy, white head. Malty, fruity nose with peaches, biscuits and citrus. Malty, fruity taste with notes of peaches, citrus, tropical fruit, pineapple, grass, bready malt and a balanced citric/floral bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty, fresh and well balanced. Nice one.

Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 24th April 2016. Hazy gold with off white foam and full lacing. Fine citrus aroma, fine grapefruit and lemon citrus in-mouth. Zesty tangerine and hazelnut nuttiness in finish. Full on mouthfeel and plenty of body.

Half pint, cask at Craft Beer Co, Islington. Yellow-golden body, close to clear. Naked surface. Herbal hops with citric hint on the nose. Oily hopped flavours alongside moments of peach and grapefruit. Mid-sweet fruity finish. Well balanced and refreshing (London 08.04.2016).

Cask at CBC Islington - London. Pours clear, very pale yellow with a foamy, white head. The nose has some tangy pale grains, hints of lemon, hay. Light sweet flavor with subtle biscuits, more grainy malts, vague citrus. Light bodied with fine carbonation, soft bitter straw. OK balance on the finish, some damp grains, straw, lemon rind. Kind of so so.

Cask at Royal Volunteer Arms. It pours clear gold with a decent white head. The nose is fresh, soft, sweet, custard tart, light floral and biscuit. The taste is crisp, bitter, grapefruit, lemon peel, biscuit, grainy, grass, floral, straw and light soap with a dry finish. Light - medium body and soft carbonation. A bit sub-par from Thornbridge. Standard hot golde.

Cask @ The Salopian Bar, Shrewsbury. Pours clear gold, moderate white head. Aroma nothing to write home about, not that anyone would. Palette is quite light and dry. Not a massive amount going on. Faint citrus. Something else.. maybe? Pretty forgettable.
