500ml bottle shared with Ashton McCobb. Pours near black with a very thin ring of beige head. Aromas of custard, fruit, ginger. Taste is ginger biscuit, light dry cocoa, fruity, ballpoint pen, liquorice. Light fruity treacle finish. Bit flat.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - a bit flat on opening. Opaque black with a thin head and not too much carbonation. Nose - bread, oranges, vanilla, booze. In fact, quite like a trifle, overall. Taste - ginger biscuit and booze again. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy yet crunchy/spicy texture and a fairly balanced dry finish. Overall - yes, enjoyable. Perhaps carbonation will improve over a couple of weeks.
