Keg at The Hanging Bat. Murky amber body with a thin off-white head. Faint lacing. Aroma of sun lotion, lemon and lightly roasted malts. Flavour of nuts, vanilla and toffee. Dry finish. Medium body with a watery, slightly oily texture. Light fizz. For me, it would be better without the vanilla - I don’t feel it’s suited to a hoppy Amber Ale / IPA.
