With the introduction of the Extra Pilsner, Jacobsen wants to create a Nordic lager and beer tradition with great emphasis on ingredients from the Nordic countries. Among the ingredients are organic pilsner malt from Jutland in Denmark with its unique and characteristic soil type, a Swedish sea buckthorn juice and organic hops from Hallertau in Germany.

330 mml bottle. Tasted on a decent Pub in Copenhagen. Fuck, i dont remember the name of the pub and barely the beer itself. Wasted. Standard pilsen for a drunk night party. I think that I ordered 3 or 4. Next one please!

Utseende: Gulbrun.

Smak: Søtlig humle og malt, svak anelse røyk avslutning.

Bottle shared @ Danish Ratebeer Gathering 2016 before Day 2. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma of dull malt, grain, slight metallic notes and light hop. Flavour is light sweet and bitter. Light bodied with moderate carbonation. [20-08-2016]

Bottle shared @ Danish Ratebeer Gathering before Day 2 of the gathering actually started. Clear orange golden color, small white to off-white head. Smell and taste malts, very grainy, metallic, lightly bitter. Average body and carbonation. Meh.

Leicht herber Antrunk, milde Malzigkeit und geringfügig hopfig. Die eher trockene Herbe bleibt konstant, zum Ende muffig bitter. Insgesamt nett. 10/8/9/8/8/8

Bottle, 0.33l. Pours clear golden color with medium soapy white head, nice lacing and sparkling appearance. Aroma is grassy, malty, mild fruity and floral. Taste starts with moderate sweet grainy and caramel malt, following is grassy and very mild fruity, mouthfeel is crisp, while finish is medium bitter. Light to medium body, thin texture and lively carbonation in palate. Rated from the past, quite sure that rating from nowadays would be lower...
