Ein Bier, das schon länger im Kühlschrank lagert, das ich mir zur Feier der Befreiung Chersons gönne. Es ist im ersten Schluck brutalst bitter, wird dann etwas friedlicher, aber nie wirklich süffig. Der Hafer gibt ein strohiges, leicht erdiged Aroma, das aber schwer an der Bitterkeit kämpft. Konnte mich nicht überzeugen.

A hazed golden ale with a thick frothy lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light tropical fruits, very nice. In mouth, a nice crisp biscuit malt with resinous floral hops and light grapefruit, piney notes, light cereals, pleasant. Can from colleague.

Can from Beyond Beer. Moderately hazy orange with a very nice head, thanks oats. First whiff, lychee but this was fleeting. Very juicy, pineapple and mandarine nose. Dry with a thin body, the bitterness leaves a lemony-puckering grapefruit aftertaste in the mouth with little/no sugar to balance it. Very nice flavors but just too much on the bitter dry side for my taste.

Poured a hazy golden-orange colour with a frothy white cap, average retention and leaving some foamy lacing patches. Orange aromas and other citrus notes, yeast. The taste is citrusy as well with hints of spiciness, but smooth overall. The oats are very mild in here, so not as juicy, but the dry mouthfeel is building. A nice Pale ale with some juiciness, but mostly dryness.

On tap at Omnipollos Hatt. Hazy gold, white head. Citrus, fruity, pine, caramel notes. Creamy mouthfeel. Nice.
