Omnipollo Maz (formerly Mazarin) is my take on a “thinker’s beer”. Rather than being big and undecipherably complex I wanted to create something that would calm a hop yearning nerve without fuddling the brain too much. In other words, a lavishly hopped ale of judicious ABV — an Extra Special Pale Ale if you will.

In fact, so extra special that it snatched a gold medal at the Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival in 2013.

In November 2014 we doubled the hop bill.

Tap at Hopdog. Cloudy yellow, fine white cream. Intense citric aroma.medium body, light chalkiness, aerated minerals, a hint apricot cheese. Dry grass and lychee from Nish.

Hazy light gold, nice white head, fast diminishing. Except tropic and mango aroma i found some malt which i didn't expected. Taste balanced, not so bitter. Medium bodied and carbonated. Ok,nothing special.

V sokolovni. Vona vyrazna citrusova alkoholova. Kalna citrusova farba. Chut silna citrusovo horkasta.

30.11.2019 - 0.33l bottle from coop in birsfelden, 3.40 fr. pours a cloudy pale orange with a steady head. aroma of honey, mango, flowers. flavour of grapefruit, resin, slight mango. juicy.
