Omnipollo Maz (formerly Mazarin) is my take on a “thinker’s beer”. Rather than being big and undecipherably complex I wanted to create something that would calm a hop yearning nerve without fuddling the brain too much. In other words, a lavishly hopped ale of judicious ABV — an Extra Special Pale Ale if you will.
In fact, so extra special that it snatched a gold medal at the Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival in 2013.
In November 2014 we doubled the hop bill.

Közepes, tömör, nagyon tartós hab, szűretlen, opálos, hóka, narancsos szín. Déligyümölcsös, barackos, mandarinos illat, enyhe fenyős beütéssel. Déligyümölcsös, barackos, citrusos ízvilág, némi fenyős aromával. Közepesen testes, erősen, de lágyan szénsavas, erősen keserű, hosszú gyümölcsös, kesernyés lecsengéssel. Nagyon finom, nagyon gyümölcsös sör.

Bottle from crafty bottle Lincoln. Hazy golden colour with a white head. Aroma has grassy, pine. And light citrus. Taste light nutty sweet. Medium body.

Bottled 330ml. -from Pivoteka Zagreb. Hazy yellow/orange coloured, medium sized white head, fresh grapefruity hoppy nose. Moderate malty, light grapefruity hoppy and slightly spicy hoppy also with intensive bitterness in rather dry finish. Really enjoyable brew.

Caňa en el V Artbeerfest Caminha 15.. 07.. 2017. (r462). Color amarillento velado con espuma blanca persistente. Sabores frescos cítricos y herbáceos con suave amargo final también herbáceo algo cítrico. Ligeros afrutados. Cuerpo medio fino espumoso. Bastante buena para repetir sin duda.

Pivoteka, thanks Axel! Milky yellow, lasting white head. Passionfruit aroma, smooth. Smooth, silky, creamy passionfruit and citrus taste. Wow, fantastic!

Vom Fass im Stone Brewing Berlin 2017-03 getrunken. Hmm dieses doch recht typische Pale Ale trink sich einfach so weg. Einfach, ja das Wort beschreibt dieses Bier sehr gut. So was brauche ich nicht im Glas.

Sampled from tap at ’Craftbeer Corner Coeln’. Hazy, golden amber with a white head. Sweetish, fruity-resiny and a bit yeasty-spicy aroma of peach, honey, clove and some lemongrass. Sweetish, slightly bitter, fruity-grassy and a bit herbal taste of lemongrass, peach, honey and some straw, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, slightly yeasty-spicy and herbal-grassy finish. Medium to full body, creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very nice!
