We ran a competition to name our Christmas ale, and this was the winning entry. We know it’s a dodgy pun, but not as bad as “Coldean crisp and even”.

Cask at EBF XX, EUSC, 02/04/15. Light black with a decent beige covering that retains well. Nose is biscuit, spice, chocolate, fruit cake mix, toffee, figs. Taste comprises light charr, toffee, liquorice, spice, dark fruit rinds, aniseed, light cocoa notes. Medium + body, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough strong.
