Growler thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - dark brown with a damson tinge around the bottom of the glass. Nose - lightly meaty, then prunes. Dark chocolate. Taste - prunes, then dark chocolate and a toffee and nuts finish. Makes me think Scotch Ale rather than an imperial stout. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy yet tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish. Overall - very enjoyable.

Growler-fill from the brewery. Pours dark brown, thick tan head. Aromas of dark chocolate, dark fruits. Taste is more toffee, nuts, raisins. Sweet but clean finish.

Growler from the brewery. Pours deep brown, nose is sweet toffee, light vanilla and chocolate, taste is chewy toffee, light fruit and chocolate, sweet.
