Bottle thanks to Stuu666. This was bottled in 2015 so a balanced view will be taken. Appearance - opaque black, big fawn head. Nose - big sour malt vinegar and loads of wood. Taste - still some sour but dark chocolate dominates. Palate - medium bodied, dry roast and under note if sour. Overall - not as it was intended but very interesting.

Bottle 38/48 thanks to Stuu666. Pours black with a thick fawn head. Aromas of sour coffee. Taste is light sour, dark chocolate. Hops have faded, but left behind an interesting sour stout with some woody notes.

Bottle at home. Pours black, nose is toffee, pine, little soapy, taste is dry, roasted, fruity.

Keg at blackfriars.. Deep black... Thick tan head... Dark roast dark bitter chocolate roast.. Huge range.. Dark malts.. Light roast.. Soft bitter chocolate roast... Dry pine.. Soft chocolate.. Massive pine roast... Nice rounded roast.. Big pine.. Light fizz
