Bottle from Bon Vivant’s Companion. Appearance - deep amber with a very thin head. Nose - like a ginger and treacle cake. Taste - ginger cake and rum and raisin. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy and sweet middle texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - prefer a straight Musselburgh Broke.
