A dark, spicy, weird and wonderful beer. This has earthy and smokey notes, with hints of chicory, treacle and long pepper.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - close to opaque black with a lovely fawn head. Nose - prunes, Port, light chocolate. Taste - more fortified fruits. Palate - close to medium bodied with a tangy texture and a long sweet tangy finish. Overall - lot of flavour considering the low ABV.

500ml bottle shared with Ashton McCobb, from Beer Hive I think. Pours dark brown, thick beige head. Aromas of light coffee, prunes, ashy. Taste is roasted bitter, dark fruits. Chewy, bitter, earthy finish. Packed a lot of flavour in a 4.3%er.

Bottle from The Beerhive. Dark brown body with a thick beige head. Light lacing. Aroma of rum, whisky, sultana and smoked malts. Flavour of beetroot, liquorice, juicy tomato and raisins. Peppery finish. Medium body with a creamy texture. Lively fizz. An interesting, unique beer.
