YG 101124. Amber-orange color with a beige head. Aroma is alcohol, caramel, bread, dried fruit. Flavor is alcohol, caramel, bread, dried fruit, citrus, raisin. Nice beer.

Bottle. An unclear orange-reddish-brown beer with a dense, finger-thick off-white to beige head. The aroma is quite gentle, with bready malts, some toffee hints, dried fruit and a light alcohol touch. Some citrus zest. It's full-bodied, very lightly warming and gently carbonated, with a soft bitterness. The flavor is semi-sweet, with bready maltyness, toffee, pale raisin and some fig. Some alcohol too. Piney hop hints in the far back. Lasting finish. A quite subtle and gentle Barley Wine, but sure nice. 241110

On tap (as ! Korn Vins Ale) at Bishop Arms, Eskilstuna. Pours cloudy deep amber to copper coloured, with a modest, off-white head. Malty aroma with notes of dried fruits and hints of hops and alcohol. Medium sweet with medium flavour intensity and medium bitterness. Strong and flavourful, but quite balanced. Quite enjoyable.

ABV: 10.0%. Hazy medium to light amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, dried fruit, barrel, bread - sweet malt. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, caramel, dried fruit, barrel, rich. Body is medium to full, texture is oily - creamy, carbonation is soft to flat, finish feel is warming. [20240312]

Sample (thanks omhper!). Hazy amber colour with a small white head. Aroma is nectary, some alcohol, toasted and a bit of waffles to it. Flavour is zesty, toasted, some alcohol and mild citrusy tones.
