Cask-conditioned at the Small Bar, Bristol 28/2/2015. Dark brown, with a frothy, off-white, head. Plain chocolate, a touch of dark fruits, coffee, some leafy hops and a dryish finish. Enjoyable.

Keg at The Hanging Bat. Dark brown body with a thin beige head. Faint lacing. Subdued aroma of ash and dark chocolate. Flavour of berries, roasted malts, creamy chocolate and caramel. Thin to medium body with a light, smooth texture. Soft fizz. A decent Porter.
