LSAT Freedom Trip #101. Keg at Ebenezer Kezar’s. Hazy bronze, large dense, foamy head, good retention. Aroma of caramel, hay, lemon, dry lemon peel, spice, green olive, tangerine. The taste is lemon oil, grapefruit, lime, caramel. Medium bodied, mild lingering bitterness.

Nice amber-orange color with big head. Hoppy aroma. Taste of ripe fruits and heavy bitterness, orange marmalade. Not much residual sweetness. A rather extreme one, but a fine brew. Smooth carbonation, but very noticeable.

On tap at Port Street Beer House, Manchester. Pours hazy orange with off-white head. Citrus hoppy aroma. Caramel malt, hops, citrus, spice in flavor.

On tap at Hoppy Days. Slightly hazy orange colour, off-white head. Aroma of oranges, malts, caramel, pine, resin, citrus. Nice and hoppy. Flavour is medium sweet, malty, oranges, citrus, resin, firm bitter finish. Medium-bodied, oily mouthfeel. Good IPA.

Draught @ Hoppy Days. Hazy orange color, medium to full white to off-white head. Nice hoppy, grassy, fruity aroma. Taste lightly malts, hops, fruit hops, lightly grassy, nicely bitter. Medium body and carbonation. Good stuff!

Bottle. Pours dark brown with tan head. Nose/taste of caramel malt, dank hops, toasted bread, dank citrus, orange and grapefruit peel, dank sappy pine and doughy yeast. Medium body.

0.75l bottle shared with The Tasting Crew. Old bottle that pours a dark amber golden body with a nice big lacing light beige top. The beer has lots of floaters and unfiltered particles. Smells really not ipa-ish. Quite sweet and almost little toast so with tones of both nuts, chocolate wrapper, fresh grounded coffee. Tastes much the same also, and in a peculiar way I'm quite liking it. Soft oily in the mouth and it has a soft carbonation level. Soft roasted almost nutty. Ends with more grounded not completely finished roasted coffee and coffee filter. Strange strange, but as the aroma, I'm kinda liking it the taste also! 09.10.2013

Flaske 0,75l. Påspandert og delt med flere under seanse på Tårnrommet 23 Apr 13. Mørk gyldenbrun. Uklar. Høyt luftig skum med litt farge. Mye lacing. Herlig fruktaroma. Svisker, plommer, druer. Smaken er mandler & tørket frukt. Litt tørr i ettersmaken. En veldig lovende start som ikke følges helt opp.
