750ml bottle. Slightly cloudy copper colour with average to huge, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Piney hop aroma, citrusy, a touch of orange zest, some resin. Taste is dry, slightly astringent, grassy hoppy, minimally tart. Slightly unbalanced, too dry.

Ok but it’s travelled a ways to get here. So mustly just malt and bitterness left over from the hops. Orange pour with great head and lacing. Finishes with light bitterness. Soft carbonation. On tap in impromptu sampler served up by Chris at Ebenezer Kezar’s.

750ml bottle carried back home from Vinmonopolet Vika in Oslo and shared at a drinking session. Firm, near-white head. Dark apricot coloured body. Solid lacework. Inviting and rich aroma of caramel malts and herbal hops. Blended flavour of semi-dried fruits, pine and smooth caramel. Rounded bittersweet ending. Well bodied. Tasty (Tromsø, 23.04.2013).

Bottle at home. Has a hazy dark amber colour with a big light beige bumpy head. Malty aroma of hay, grassy hops and pine. Well-balanced. The malty flavour reflects the aroma with the addition of rye bread and spices. Nice. Has a rich and slick mouth feel, and a medium bitterness. Balanced and rich IPA.
