A quite unique beer, brewed with peat-smoked malted barley used in Ardmore malt whisky. It has a very distinctive flavour and a long lingering light smokiness in the aftertaste.

Orange pour with a thin white head; Aromas of peat, (smoked) oak, a hint of marmelade. Taste is the the same, adding a bit of smoked bacon. Liked it.

Bottle as part of a delivery from the brewery and drunk at home. Brownish-orange and clear with a quickly dissipating beige head. Peaty smoke dominates the aroma, with light notes of citrus peel. Sweet, smoky taste with a gentle sourness at the end. More smoke in the aftertaste. Very light body with medium to heavy carbonation. It's not overly exciting but the smokiness gives it a lovely flavour.

500ml bottle from the brewery. Poured a crystal clear golden colour with a short-lived frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, peaty smoke, woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a light, slightly watery, malt, dry smokey, light woody hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation.

Clear golden beer with a white head. Light hop aroma. Not a lot of flavour up front other than a hint of zesty hop but the smoky, peaty malt becomes more prominent as you go through it. A bit if a smoky finish but being on top of something so light and fresh is a little odd

Brilliant white creamy head left a spotty cover on a very light golden coloured still body. Light fresh aroma of faint hops & spices. Medium bodied, light & airy on the palate with a sharp back. Fruity tastes to the fore with peach, berry & hops followed slowly by long smoky finish - but not overpowering. Very enjoyable!

Appearance is golden with an amber tinge, a small fizzy white head. Aroma- peat, smoke, malt, peaty whisky dominates. Taste- smoked malt, peat, more peat and smoke, rough malt. Some caramel and dark fruit hints as it warms. One for Laphroaig enthusiasts.
