Bottle from Bottle Stop, Enniskillen [150614]
Orange amber, hazy, fluffy white head, some lacing
Aroma of very soft apricot, vague peach, slightly tart, soft sweet pale malts
Taste of light caramel, soft fruits, mellow apricot, slightly tart, very easy drinking, no defects but needs more hop flavour...expected more flavour considering it’s not pasteurised or filtered
Palate - soft carb, medium body, smooth, soft sweet, bit powdery mouthfeel. Finish is smooth, some biscuits come through on the tail, clean finish
Overall - Quaffable, easy going, everything very mellow, pleasant enough but overall flavour is a bit too subdued

Many thanks for this bottle to Beersiveknown. Pours cloudy yellow with a white head. Smells of toast, biscuits, earth, some dough.

Firstly, I’m surprised, and then immediately suspicious, that a bottle-conditioned beer can have no sediment, and be so clear and highly carbonated. That said, it pours a lovely amber, with nice white head, bit too much at first, but settles down. Aromas of malt and lemon. Touch sweet on the taste, but good overall bitterness on the finish.

50cl bottle, many thanks to Rachel and Cedric. Pours a nice amber colour as the style suggests, highly carbonated and a nice head. The nose is mainly dominated by maltiness which is very nice but not very interesting. More of the same on the taste but possibly going into pallet. The palate is very balanced and satisfying. It’s a bottle conditioned beer, but there’s yeast to speak of on the pour - it would seem that he can brew and is fastidious about his processes, perhaps just needs to up the ante to show us what he can do.
