Cask at the Hanging Bat. A little cardboard, sweet, burnt, malty, bitter, pine.

Keg at the hanging bat... Deep brown... Dark roast... Dark malt... Dry pine hop nose... Sift fizzy dark roast... Light dry bitter... Juicy pine... Long dry woody finish

Keg at The Hanging Bat. Pours murky brown, no real head. Cold. Aromas are caramel, tropical fruit, green hops. Taste is very bitter, perhaps the most bitter of all the Hopcraft beers tonight. Too cold though, like cold tea. Enjoyable, but an insult to history, really (Copyright R. Protz).
