Seven is the most Belgian-esque of the numbered beers, where the house yeast is fully expressed with a big fruitiness while the hops provide spicy and herbal elements. The beer has some heft mid-palate but finishes dry.

[2/26/15] Draught at Upright Brewing in Portland. Clear gold. Nice aroma, earthy, spicy, with some fresh fruit and a light funky note. Fruity flavor, slightly tart, mildly spicy, with a bit of earth and a bitterish hops finish. Medium-bodied.

Aroma: The nose is tart and citrusy, tangerine/orange juice, a little spice, a little yeast
Appearance: It pours a cloudy orange color with a sheeting white head and some spotty lace
Flavor: Tastes similar, but more sweet/less tart, the spice/yeast is subtle and in the finish
Palate: The body is on the lighter side of medium, fairly soft carbonation, tart/dry finish
Overall Impression: First thing I've tried from Uprising, and this beers not bad, but it isn't great either. This falls somewhere between tangerine juice and beer. I'd drink this again, it grew on me actually. My score increased the more I drank.

Tap @ Uiltje bar, medium sample. Slight hazy golden color, medium frothy head. Aroma of pineapple, slight flowery hop, hint of citrussy tartness, bit funky, spicy. Slight bitter in taste, soft citrussy sweetness, slight sour note. Very soft funky touch makes it quite interesting stuff.

Draft @ Novare Res Bier Café. Cloudy gold color with lasting foam in a snifter. Aroma is a refreshing citrus hops, yeast and hints of barnyard. Barnyard is very subtle. Aroma and flavor is similar.
Flavor is citrus rind, floral hops and sweet bread caramel, with the yeast giving a medium body. Again the barnyard is very subtle in the flavor as well. Low spice /black pepper element. The carbonation is ample with a drying texture on the tongue. Nice balanced variety of flavors. Really easy drinking, and easy to session this even at 8%.

750ml bottle. Clear, orangey, deep golden colour with huge, foamy, fully lasting, superbly lacing, white head. Fruity peach aroma, hints of apricot, mirabelle, yellow stone fruit in general, cautious strawy, yeasty overtones. Taste is moderately sweet malty, fruity, apricot, peach, mirabelle etc. again, a floral honey touch, cautiously strawy, yeasty overtones; slightly sticky, super-soft palate. Clean, precise, superbly elaborated fruitiness.

Cloudy, thin head, aroma is pale malt, taste is sweeter than expected, subtle tart notes, a dash if floral hops. On draught, this might be a bit young - sweet and yeasty - but you can see there’s something solid beer here.
