Toffee and caramel carried along in a complex malty sweetness. A warm spice finish is revealed as the sweetness fades. Not too heavy, an easy-drinking thirst quenching ale as Mild is meant to be.

Cask at Big Hand Alehouse, Chester Pours a copperish red with a small white head. Lighter than you would expect a mild to be. In the mouth a fruity sweetness predominates, raspberries and cherries. The finish is dark fruits like blackberry. Nice but not really a mild.
