(Cask at HBF2015) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness and earth. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, berries, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste had berries, fruitiness and bitterness. The berries felt like very foreign here.

On cask at Alexander Graham Bell. Appearance - amber with a nice head. Nose - very delicate some citrus and gentle malt. Taste - tangy lemon pith creamy malt. Slightly sickly. Palate - a little unbalanced. The body is at least medium maybe needs to refresh on the end a bit more. The tang is a bit too much. Overall - enjoyed the Wee Xp more.

Cask @ AG Bell, Edinburgh [130913]
Golden. clear, dense white head, good lacing
Aroma - Slight sweet malt, touch of herbal hops
Taste - Caramel malt, touch of toffee, creamy caramel, bitter hops. mainly sweet malts, hops come across as just bitter as flavour masked by the malts...quite like the creamy malt, not sure about the hops
Palate - Medium body, oily, sweet toffee malts, bitter quite astringent hop. Finish - lingering bitter hop mixed with caramel. dryish, getting booze in the finish
Overall - Very malty for an IPA. hopping quite astringent on palate, seems to be a work in progress - needs refining
