Deep gold in colour, brewed with spruce sprigs and dry-hopped with citra hops. Sweet tropical fruit and resinous nose, juicy hop and spruce flavours with a nice dry sweetness and bitterness.

Half from the keg menu at Vintage. Patchy surface blanketing the glassware. The body colour is red-brown, cloudy. Fruity aroma of oranges and fresh apricots. Leafy hop driven flavours supported by sappy fruits. Long-lived fruit bitter end, half-dry. Medium bodied. Pretty nice (Leith 11.08.2013).

On tap at Red Squirrel. Hazy amber with a good white head. Big grapefruit aromas, touch of pine, some caramel malt behind that. Very bitter on the taste, perhaps a touch too much for something this strong? Hops kind of over-power everything else, and linger for some time afterwards. Interesting though.

Bottle (EBBC 2013 Edinburgh) - Hazy amber. Pine, citrus, gooseberries and lime in the aroma. Hoppy and tany taste with pine, grain, grapefruit and toffee standing out. Interesting and very refreshing.
