Keg at the bat... Deep black... Dark roast... Deep rich malts...little bitter chocolate nose... Chewy malts... Big blackcurrant... Rich deep roast thats full and rounded and totally ruined by the carbonation... Tiny light smoked hint... Soft meaty finish... So nice in some way.. So not in others

Dense black body with a thin tan head that holds well. Lots of sticky lacing marks. Aroma is coffee, brambles and Twiglets. The flavour is more tangy than the aroma suggests - sharp berries and underripe plum. There’s a lovely charcoal quality to this. Thin to medium body with a watery, slightly oily texture. Soft carbonation. Tangy, dry and flavoursome - this is really rather nice.
