Draught @ borefts 12. Hazy pale yellow colour, liked someone poured milk in it, small white head. Smells milky, fruity, some hops and tea. Tastes anti-nailbiting-nailpolish, chemical like hell. Thin body, low carbo.

Muddy blond color with creamy head. Some aroma of Sorachi Ace, therefore lemon and soap, lemon pie, some yeast. Dry and weak mouthfeel, some light malt flavor, strong bitterness, strong lemony hop, and yeast.
It has a bit too much yeast, but it’s a good idea initially.

Bottled. A pale golden beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of spicy hops, malt, and tropical fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of tropical fruits and spicy hops, leading to a dry and bitter finish. The body is light. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a cloudy golden with a lacing white head. Heavy Sorachi Ace - dill and coconut! Light body, quite yeasty and fruity with a shitload of Sorachi Ace leading to a very bitter finish. 160912

Bottle from Cave à Bulles. Pours dark dishwater gold with a transient white head. Light aroma of citrus. Perhaps an earthy hint. Near med body. There’s not a great deal of malt, but there’s an awful lot of citrus hop. Goes a bit earthy as the beer goes down. It’s very dry. It’s astringent. It’s really, really bitter! Very impressive for 2.5.

(Draught at Chez Moeder Lambic Fontainas, Brussels, 16 July 2012) Hazy golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of citrus, lemon peel and grass. Fruity, hoppy taste with citrus, lemon, grainy malt and a generous grassy bitterness with lots of fresh hops. Rather thin body, quite dry. Very tasty and refreshing, the low alcohol level making it ridiculously drinkable. Nice one.

Draught Thick yellowish head over fully hazy orange-ochre beer. Superb fruity Sorachi Ace nose, with grapefruit, tart wild fruit and musk. Again the wild, nearly tart musk flavour, grapefrtuit, unripe nondescript fruits and orange peel. Quite slick, light to medium bodied apparently. THIS IS UTTERLY SENSATIONAL. Only 2.5%, and packed with flavour - even the Brits can’t do this. And if that wasn’t bowling over enough, it is the first blond beer I taste where the S.A. works!! Kudos to this brewer!

draft @ Moeder Lambic French Beer Festival ’12.

25 cl. + sample Draft @ Chez Moeder Lambic French Beer Festival /// hazy golden with serious creamy white head that sink with a reasonable pace // smell is definitely sorachi ace but not the sweeter earthly, cheese side of it that I prefer, this is sharp / clean, floral, citrus zest side of it, some grass // taste is fullon the bitter floral side of sorachi ace, citus zest, lemon, lingering quite bitter finish, some spices, clean sharp serious, some malt, dash herbal, serious bitterness // body is clean, sharp, dry // still quite neat for the alcohol percentage, the body doesn’t feel watery or light in any way imaginable // appears to accomplish fully what it set out to be light alcohol, sharp, bitter floral sessionable beer, that in no way feels like 2.5 %, reminds me a bit of De La Senne’s style
