This monster of an Imperial Stout was the perfect vehicle for strong flavours from barrel ageing. This brew was split into four, aged in three whisky barrels and one rum cask.
Jack Daniels, Canadian Bourbon, Ardbeg 2001 and Morgan's Spiced barrels were filled with this gorgeously smooth stout and soaked up the flavours of the casks.

Cask (Hanging Bat, Edinburgh) - Black with a tan head. Coffee, liquorice, plain chocolate and rum in the aroma. Rich, vinous, roasted and chocolatey taste with rum, raisins and plain chocolate standing out.

Cask at the bat... Deep black... Big roast... Toffee malts... Dark toast... Little toomuch rum... Though its died over time.. Sweet roast... Sofy spice.. Nice but little too rummy before it settles down
