Bottle from Beers of Europe. Appearance - hazy yellow with a nice fluffy head. Nose - lemon curd, pine, touch of plant stalks. Taste - intense lemon pith and a edge of resin. Palate - light bodied with a dry texture and a long dry finish. Overall - this is decent, alright.

Small irregular yellowish head over clear golden beer, medium carbonated. Very flowery, delicate hoparomas during pouring. Once the head in place, hardly any aromas detectable, apart form some sweet malt. Bitter, bit metallic, herbal and spicy hops. Hint of caramel underneath. Metallic bitterness keeps hanging around. Light, finally rather low on carbonation. Not unlikeable. Lots of flavour from just enough ABV. Keeps the perfect middle between the classical UK familybrewers’ products and the endeavours of the smaller craftbrewers. The art and skill of Roger Ryman, I presume?

Dark golden, transparent, average head, decent persistence, scarce lacing. Weak aroma shows resinous and citric notes. Taste has a very light malt base, resinous hops are dominant with some not too vivid notes of grapefruit and citrus. A bit musty. Low sweetness, bitterness is dominant in both taste and aftertaste. Light to medium body, mouthfeel is nor too vivid nor refreshing despite quite high crispness, feels slightly muddy instead. Not intense, nor well made

Bottle at home, 02/05/16. Clear golden copper with a well appointed off white covering that retains well. Nose is bitter orange, light floral notes, straw, caramel, tagnerine. Taste comprises caramel malt, orange peel, light spice, light honey, faint vanilla, soft fruit buns, crisp malt backbone. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, leafy hop bitterness in the close. Ok but APA? I suppose the US hops go towards this but more akin to an English strong for me in terms of flavour profile.

Nice tasty and refreshing ale.
Clear deep golden color with a fine white head. Ok hop intensity in the aroma. Medium (+) body and a fine carbonation. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Citric, mellow malty, mild fruity and some pine in the flavor.
