500ml bottle. Pours golden with a smooth medium white head. Aroma is hoppy, citrussy, grapefruit, pine. Taste is much the same, citrussy hops and grapefruit. Bitter hop finish. To be honest it could have done being even more hoppier to fit the "Powerfully Hopped" label, but it was a good IPA.

Clear medium amber colour, good two finger fothy off-white head, half-way lasting, fair lacing. Fruity nose, pale malts, orange, tropical fruits, pine, grass. Taste medium sweet and bitter, grainy, fruity, with a average duration. Sweetbitter finish, fruity and spice notes, medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, solid easy to drink pale ale.

Bottle at a friend’s house. It was either this or Badger Firkin Fox so I had this, she had the Firkin Fox and both of us agreed that we’d made the right choice. Golden in colour, light and clear with not a lot of obvious head. Smell is a bit buttery and somewhat malty, so the hoppy fruit is a bit muted. It comes out in the bittersweet (but more bitter than sweet) taste: a burst of mango, grapefruit and lemonade. Bitter satisfying finish. Simple but quite tasty.

Great looking beer - clear golden amber with good dense white head. Lovely hop aroma - lemon, grapefruit, stone fruit, floral notes. Light body with plentiful carbonation. Great taste - nice balance of hop bitterness and biscuity light malt. Very nice IPA - great balance, plenty of hops without being aggressive.

Bottle @ Ship Inn, Mevagissey. Golden with a small creamy head. Has a good fuller-bodied texture with an easy-drinking and lightly malty character.

Bottle shared, a little past it’s sell by date unfortunately. Pours slightly hazy orange with a minimal off white head. Aroma of lightly floral hops, citrus and fruits. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation. Decent even though it’s probably past it’s prime.

Ambar clara.
