A full-flavoured Belgian IPA. The bitterness is well integrated in true Belgian style with a pleasant kick at the end. Hopclassic is packed full of hop character and is super refreshing on the palate.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours yellow with a slight haze. Yeasty, fruity nose. Medium body, fruity and floral from the yeast, very Belgian in style, but not sure that it’s hoppy enough to be called an IPA as the label claims, even if the finish has quite some base bitterness. Very true to its Belgian inspiration. 160217

On tap at Eebria Taproom Bermondsey. Clear gold lasting white head. Some hop on aroma. Flavour is saison yeast like then hoppy. Very much a hoppy saison i would say. Good condition. Pretty tasty hoppy saison.

330ml bottle from Aldi - Hazy golden body, thin white head. Nose is yeasty, cloves, bread, little citrus, more Belgian yeast. Flavour is yeast, nuts, butter, hints of citrus, soft bitter finish. Quite surprised at this one really, most certainly not the IPA they claim it is.

Sampler tray, keg at Six Degrees North. Misty yellow-gold body. White head leaving lacing rings on the glass. Grapefruit nose added by oily hops. Citrus flavours including lemon and grapefruit, carefully spiced. Fruity bitterness to the ending. Fine bodied with splendid drinkability (Aberdeen 12.04.2016).

33cl bottle from Beer52.com A hazy pale amber pour with a fast settling white head; typical Belgian aroma with yeast, coriander and orange peel; bitter citrus taste; with a long lingering grapefruit zest finish. Satisfying.
