On tap at Suuret oluet - pienet panimot 2016, Helsinki. Close to pitch black with a rather small, but lasting, beige head. Aroma of roasted malt with dark fruits, tar, chocolate, licorice and hints of pine and herbs. Medium sweet with complex flavours and a balanced bitterness. Bottle - thanks to Cloin! - pours black with a medium dissipating tan head. Aroma and taste is roasted malty, with a strong hoppy backing, nice notes of chocolate and coffee, pretty smooth mouthfeel with a good helping of vanilla sweetness flowing through, a roasty and hoppy bitter finish. Good stuff.

Bottle thanks to Secret Santa! Pours opaque black, medium creamy brown head, dissipates leaving decent residual and lacing. Roasy aroma, anise, molasses, cocoa. Flavor is light sweet, medium plus bitter, roasty, burned notes, molasses, pine. Lingering bitter finish. Medium body.

Bottle. Pours pitch black with a brown head. The aroma contains notes of roasted malts, chocolate, liquorice, coffee and dark fruits. Moderate to heavy sweetness, light bitterness and a slightly bitter finish. Full-bodied, creamy and very soft carbonation. The best imperial stout currently made in Finland.

Bottle at the Dirty Old Socks Tasting, Den Haag, December 2014. Poured a dark mahogany with a thin broken light tan head. The flavour is strong bitter witn a rich alcoholic liqourice bitter palate. Mediun bodied with average carbonation.
