Getreidig hopfiger Antrunk wobei die Hopfigkeit etwas dumpf erscheint. Das bleibt leider so, eher herb würzig als hopfig, der Alkoholgehalt ist erkennbar. Hell süßlich, vollmundig. 11/12/8/11/10/11

Pours deep hazy gold into a shaker. Off-white micro head with excellent retention recedes leaving trailing sheets. Stale tropical and dried fruit aromas. Hot and sweet with peach, mango and apricot upfront turning to mild resin in the dry lasting finish.

Bottle. Pours with a hazy deeper golden hued body with a slightly off-white head. Soapy lace. Aromas are tea, caramel malt, mild esters and gooseberries, sweet, slightly faded, alcohol, grassy, mild citrus. Flavors are malty, sweet, light pine, a touch metallic and some minerals. Some grainy and grassy. Nice hop flavor per bitterness (which is relatively low), but overall it tastes faded (new to my market with no best by date). Overall too malty and heavy for my tastes in DIPA, but I could see this being better closer to the source. Medium carbonation, very full body for my tastes in DIPA.
