Our latest seasonal a copper coloured ale, with a fantastic hop profile. Wil thinks it may be our best beer this year - but there’s some stiff competition for that title!

Cask @ Newcastle Arms, Newcastle 060912
Golden amber, thin creamy head, some lacing
Aroma - gooseberry and grapefruit, citrus fruits, touch of grape
Taste - gooseberry, pithy grapefruit, some grape, golden malt, mainly deep citrus bitterness, too much gooseberry
Palate - soft carb, medium body. NIce bit sour bitterness. Finish - really pithy bitter grapefruit and gooseberry, quite intense, long lingering dry finish
Overall - Strong flavour, finish bit over lingering and I’m getting a lot of gooseberry in this which I’m not a fan of
