Cask at CBC Clerkenwell - London. Pours clear gold with a light, white foam head. Toasty straw in the nose, some biscuits. Medium sweet flavor with semi-ripe citrus fruits, hay, moderate pale malts, light tangy fruits, lemon, faint berries, bread. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Great condition. Modest dryness to finish, some dirty straw, sticky grass, mild biscuity pale malts. Good one.

Cask at Craft Beer Co, Clerkenwell. Half pint shared with Finn. Fragile patches at the surface. Cloudy golden body. Smell of citrus hops. Flavoured with grapefruits, oranges and a backdrop of grainy malts. Rounded bitter endnotes. Standard for the style (London, 01.11.2012).

Aroma: Clean but difficult to discern. Some grain and citrus.
Appearance: Clear amber body with a dense off-white head. No carbonation. Good lacing.
Taste: Typical Fyne Ales ’bright’ hoppy taste. A little bit earthy and soapy with some white wine characteristics. Quite hoppy for a bitter. Lingering bitter finish.
Palate: Medium body with a slightly oily texture. Flat carbonation.
Overall: Another delicious beer from arguably Scotland’s best brewery. One of the lightest, hoppiest bitters I’ve tasted.

Cask, handpump, Craft, Clerkenwell, Saturday 15th September 2012 Pours light amber, looks good, filmy white head, fresh and hoppy. A very good beer but bettered by the Sanda. Good lasting bitterness, dry and pithy, nice. A7 A4 T7 P3 Ov14 3.5
