On tap at the brewpub. It pours a really nice glowing amber color with a nice rich mellow caramel aroma. The taste of this beer was quite good, true to style & tasty. Caramel, sweet malts but very well balanced & full bodied.

Bottle @ restaurant in Oslo. Hazy amber with a lasting off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, light grainy and light hoppy. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 270713

500ml bottle from Rimi, Torggaten. Dark amber/mahogany body, average head and fair lacing. Berries, prunes, dates- sweet malt. Dark fruits and berries in flavour, hint of spices and nuts. Sweet and bitter notes. Shared with Kenneth 25.06.13.

God aroma av honning og humle. noe grumsete brun uklar farge. Friskt men noe søtt på smak. Godt øl totalt sett.

Cloudy brown appearance. Aroma has some sweet caramel malts. Flavour is similar and also has some good cocoa notes. Soft carbonation.

Flaske hjemme: flott beige skum (hvorfor får nesten alle øl et flott skum i mitt Duvel-glass?) og fin rødlig mahognyfarge. Skummet synker til en tynn film. Innbydende, blomsteraktig aroma med litt rosin. Rund men litt tynn smak med minner om barndommens fløtekarameller. Overpriset til 60 kroner.

50cl bottle. Pours deep amber with an off-white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, hops and spices with some roasty notes and hints of fruits. Sweet and malty with a lightly spicy and lightly bitter finish. Quite mild in flavour, but easy to drink. A bit boring, but certainly a decent brew. (2013-02-16)

Til en moden cheddar med dip av dijonsennep fungerer den helt greit, men er kanskje litt maltrik. Kanskje en IPA hadde fungert bedre?
